The Association

Founded in 1980, The International Society of Livestock Appraisers a professional organization whose primary functions are to:

1. Recruit persons knowledgeable in judging the value of livestock.

2. Certify livestock appraisers.

3. Provide performance criteria and limited training for persons wishing to become certified.
